JAKE WALL
On Saturday, November 10, 2018, in his home in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, Jake Wall passed away in his sleep forever joining his spirit with that of his wife of 55 years.
Jake was born on July 8, 1939 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan to Agnes Wall. He spent his youth in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and began working at a very young age. His work took him to Saskatoon and then to Kamsack where he met his wife Evelyn. They were married on August 3rd, 1962 and celebrated 54 years of marriage before she passed away. Jake and Ev made their home in Churchbridge, Saskatchewan where they had two sons, Curtis and Brian. In 1970, they moved to Esterhazy, Saskatchewan where Jake worked at the potash mines until he retired. He was very involved with his church, golfing and handiwork and always had time for friends and family.
Jake is survived by his sons Curtis (Barb), and Brian (Alison); 10 Grandchildren, Bailey (Ryan), Olivia, Jesse, Brooklyn (Jim), Ashley, Lauricia, Lyndon, Aaron, Aiden & David; and one great grandchild, Jordan (Bailey).
He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn; granddaughter Amy Gilbert; and his sister Anne Wall. Jake is also survived by his brother Abe Wall (Sarah); sisters Mary Fraser (Ron) and Agnes Wilkins (Bill).
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jake’s life will be held at 1.00pm, Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 249, 473 Main Street, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan with Pastor Robert Moss officiating.
