Your wings were ready but our hearts ♥️ were not! She courageously fought the beast (cancer )head on, putting up a good fight as long as she could. She is now at peace.
Predeceased by her mother Margaret Greta, born in Hodgson, Manitoba, father Leon Joseph, born in Fisher Branch, Manitoba, and brother Elphage born in Hodgson, Manitoba.
Beverly was born in Peguis, Manitoba on March 12, 1952 and will be sadly missed and joyfully remembered by her beloved friend Ben White; family; and her children Kenneth (Annette), Albert, Deanna, Janeen; grandchildren Adriana (Yaya), Garrett (Alissa), Brayden (Shannon), Dallas, Jacob, Avery, Tristan; great-grandchildren Sicario, Serina (Garrett), Armani (Braydon),Texas (Dallas), Austin, August (Jacob); siblings Elphage (pre-deceased), Norman (Michelle), Annette, Dennis (Vanessa), Shelley (Dean), Julie, Kelly (Susan); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Beverly spent majority of her life in Winnipeg. She revolved around her children, grandchildren and family. She was a very heartfelt mother, grandmother, sister and aunty with a great sense of humor. She loved spending time doing puzzles, going to bingo with her sisters, and watching her favourite program Young and the Restless! She also enjoyed watching scary movies and playing cards. During her family gatherings she loved her country music and dancing. Beverly always had the nickname “Blabs” because she was the community newspaper reporter and the weather girl! Beverly lived a very simple life. Her joy was her family. Anytime she could be with family, she would show us her most beautiful smile. Her smile brought so much joy to those all around her. Beverly, during her last days, was all about her family and faith in Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Please find below Bev’s favourite prayer.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the LORD's house forever.
Beverley’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).
