A celebration of the life of Kingkeo Keomanivong will be held on Friday, December 23rd, 2016 at The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Kingkeo’s story began January 10, 1956 in Vientiane, Laos, the 7th of 12 children.  In 1979, she immigrated with her husband to Canada, graduated from Maples Collegiate in 1985, and went on to graduate from nursing at Red River college.  She worked many years with the WRHA and retired early to be a stay-at-home mom.  She enjoyed cooking, needlework, reading, gardening, travelling, and family time.

Her newest journey began December 17th, 2016, though she will be missed, her passion, strength, wit, and spirit is immortalized by her loving husband Bounleua Keomanivong (married for 39 years). Their Love shared by 15 children, 25 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

“Your life was a blessing,

your memory a treasure,

you are loved beyond words

and missed beyond measure”
