MARIE-PAULE (MP) JUBINVILLE

October 22 1941 - March 4, 2017

(age 75 years)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie-Paule Cécile Jubinville after a lengthy and courageous battle with Parkinson’s.

She leaves her son and daughter, Robert and Suzanne Comeault; sister Johanne Fontaine; niece Jacqueline Mclellan and her husband Robert; nephew Jean Fontaine and his wife Donna.

MP was predeceased by her parents Yolande (Tellier) and Norbert Jubinville; brother-in-law Roland Fontaine and her ex-husbands Rodolphe Comeault (m. 1960 - 1982) and Jack Cancilla (m.1989-1996).

In accordance with MP’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

MP was born and raised in Winnipeg and lived most of her life in the St. Boniface area except for a brief time in the town of Erickson, MB.

Aside from her devotion to raising her children, MP was also employed at several different organizations including the Canadian Youth Hostel Association and the Canada Labour Relations Board.

Among MP's passions were holistic healthcare, organic nutrition, and preservation of our environment.

She held a deep spiritual connection with the God of her understanding, an enduring faith that comforted her during her 30 year battle with Parkinson’s.

A celebration of her life will be held at Place of Grace Church, 1040 Beach Avenue, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba  or to Finding Freedom via their respective websites.
