Eulogy to Glenn

My brother Glenn and I had butted heads many times in the past. I’m truly sorry I couldn’t have helped him more through the hard times.

Life is full of memories, adventures with family and friends. The direction we choose might not always be the right one, but we’ll never forget the good times.

Glenn started his working career with the refrigeration company of Fleming Pedlar back in the day. Deciding he needed a change, Glenn went into the wholesale side of the business. He worked for WWG HVAC, Refrigeration wholesale group where he became one of the many “go-to” guys behind the counter. Glenn was highly respected in that business community and I’m sure he will be missed by all his customers. On occasion when I was on call at the same time as Glenn, I would have to drag him out of his warm bed to his warm office to pick up parts late at night. I would ask him why he was complaining because I was the one that had to go on the roof. He would just laugh and say “That’s why I got out of that side of the business”

Glenn and I played many sports, always chasing that elusive Stanley Cup. Martial Arts was also something we shared together. Master Am Lee always kept us in line.

Fishing and Hunting were favourite outdoor activities for Glenn and his son Mitchel. Trudging through the swamp mud at Twin Beaches, duck hunting. For some reason these guys loved it and it will always be a special memory for Mitchel. Glenn did confirm that his son was a far better shot than himself.

Well Glenn the marsh land behind Twin Beaches will be your happy spot forever.

Rest in peace bro – Love from the other Hill brother, Bob.
