Marten Joseph Falcon

February 18, 1950 – April 28, 2019

On April 28, 2019, with great sadness, I said goodbye to my brother Marten; I love you always bro!

Marten is survived by his only sister, Jo-Ann Letters. He was predeceased by his father Joe in 1951 and his mother Marg in 2005.

Marten began his career with the Winnipeg Tribune and remained with them until they eventually shut down. It was at this time he joined the Winnipeg Sun where he could go on to work for many years.

Marten had a great sense of humour which I am sure everyone will remember him for!

A special thank you to all of the homecare workers that looked after Marten tirelessly, you were like family to him.

Friends and relatives are encouraged to share in  stories, and condolences for the family using the comment section on this page.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of the Victoria Hospital for the excellent care Marten received during his time there.
