Kim Armitt

June 29, 1958 - July 29, 2018

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our son and brother Kim Armitt.

Kim passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Kim was born June 29, 1958 in Winnipeg where he grew up in the West End. He attended Principal Sparling and Sargent Park Schools.

He was an avid sportsperson and engaged in most sports. He did well in hockey until an injury curtailed his participation.

He left home at an early age when he had his first job at Reindeer Lake as a camp helper. He then went into construction as an Operator. He was currently employed by Ray Bateman Enterprises where he was treated as family.

The word is that Kim was a very likable guy, always a smile of his face and cared for by many.

Kim was predeceased by his father Fred, sister Candace, paternal and maternal grandparents, uncles and aunts.

He is survived by his mother, Darlene, brothers Dwight (Pam), Darrell (Judy), and Jeff (Kim), and sisters Terri (George), Cindy (David) and Darcy along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, aunts and uncles.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Jeffrey's Restaurant on Henderson Highway on August 19, 2018 at 1 - 4 pm.

A private internment will be held at a later date.

Thank you to the Police and Paramedics for their help in this matter.
