Andy was born and grew up in Woodstock, New Brunswick.  He joined the Canadian Armed Forces - Air Force branch right after graduation and served 30 years as an Administration Clerk.  His military career took him to many postings all throughout Canada where Winnipeg became his final destination in 1982.  After the military, Andy worked 18 more years at Standard Aero with his last position as an Inspector.  He made many wonderful friends over the years.

Andy’s interests were classic cars, computers, golf, curling, carpentry, watching sports on TV, camping, boating, travelling and being with his family and friends.

He attended the PRIME program at Deer Lodge Centre from September 2016 to December 2017 under the care of Dr. Russell Albak and amazing staff.  He acquired many friends throughout the staff and patrons.  Andy was well liked at PRIME and enjoyed his time there. The family would like to thank them for the wonderful care that was provided to him.  Though his stay was short at St. Boniface Hospital, the family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care he received.

In keeping with Andy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Parish on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
